The 1000 Miles Per Watt award is now taken to a new level with the introduction of the KMPW Century Club.
Available from November 2015, it is awarded to those who have contacted 100 countries where each QSO would qualify for at least 1000 miles per Watt !

The first person to be awarded this new certificate is JH1GNU who worked all 100 stations on 10MHz with CW.

As with all QRP ARCI awards there is no requirement for QSL cards or any electronic confirmation.
The award is issued free to active members of QRP ARCI (i.e. anyone with a current subscription to QRP Quarterly).
The cost for non-members is $10 (or join QRP ARCI to get the award for free)

The famous '1000 Miles Per Watt' or KMPW award has been issued to thousands of QRPers worldwide.

Enjoy a QRP contact where the distance between stations in miles divided by the power in Watts is greater than 1000 Miles Per Watt !

It's a great award for people new to QRP, or maybe to mark the first DX QSO using a new homemade transceiver.
Try turning the power down - now see if you can get KMPW with 100mW or even 10mW !
