New members join QRP ARCI by taking a subscription to QRP Quarterly magazine.
A membership number will be issued after joining. Membership is for life.

A member with a current subscription to QRP Quarterly is an active member.  An active member can apply for up to 5 QRP ARCI operating awards each year (issued free of charge) and has voting rights in QRP ARCI elections and polls.

An inactive member has let their QQ subscription lapse. The membership number is still valid for use in contests. Active membership can be restored by subscribing to QRP Quarterly magazine.

All new subscriptions, and subscription renewals are for the next four issues of the QRP Quarterly.
