QRP ARCI Awards

QRP ARCI provides a number of awards, each of which encourages low power enthusiasts to accomplish a wide variety of goals. I invite you to review the various awards and to make a commitment toward earning your own special award.

A number of applicants apply for several different awards at the same time, which is fine. I hope you will review your log and determine if you might be eligible for any awards at this time.

Please note that awards are free of charge for active members - another significant benefit of active membership.

Details of the 1000 Miles Per Watt award, distance calculators, GCR forms and application instructions will be added shortly. In the meantime, just send me an email if you need any more information.

QRP All States

Issued for communications with each of the 50 United States. The basic award is issued at 20 states. Endorsements are available for 30, 40 and all 50 states. Band and Mode endorsements are available.

Please include a list of stations worked in state order with your application. The standard GCR form is also required.

QRP DX

This award is issued for successful communications with 25 ARRL countries while running QRP.

Endorsements are available in increments of 25 countries. All submitted totals will be listed on the certificate. A list sorted by ARRL Country Name and a GCR form is required. Band and Mode endorsements are available.

QRP All Continents

This award is issued for successful communications with stations in all six continents while running QRP.

The continents are - North America, South America, Oceania, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Australia is a country, part of Oceania, not a continent.
Antarctica is part of Oceania.

A list of stations worked and a GCR form are required. Band and Mode endorsements are available.

7 Band All Continents

Stations must be worked on each of the 6 continents on 7 different bands.

The continents are - North America, South America, Oceania, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Australia is a country, part of Oceania, not a continent.
Antarctica is part of Oceania.

A list of stations worked and a GCR form are required. Band and Mode endorsements are available.

Grid Square

Issued for successful communications with 25 different grid squares, worldwide. Simple grid squares are used, such as EN73.

Endorsements are available in increments of 25 grid squares. Band and Mode endorsements are available.

All submitted contact totals will be listed on the certificate. Include a list of grids claimed in grid square order. The standard GCR form is required.

County Hunters

The basic award is issued for working 100 counties of the United States using QRP.
Endorsements are available for 250, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000 and All Counties (3079).

This award is governed by the additional rules of the Worked All Counties Award issued by CQ Magazine. Go to the County Hunter website for more information.

A list of stations worked, sorted by State and County, should be included. The standard GCR form is required. Please do not send the USA-CA special record book required by CQ Magazine. QRP ARCI cannot be held responsible for items lost in the mail.

Worked All ARCI

This award is issued for working members of QRP ARCI. Every member, whether active or inactive, has a lifetime membership number. Use Member Lookup to find a membership number.

Include a list of stations worked listed in Member Number order with your application. Also include the standard GCR Form.

The award is issued for working 25 club members of QRP ARCI. Old QRP-25 Award contacts can be used to qualify for this award. A copy of an old QRP-25 Certificate can be used in place of the GCR Form.

Endorsements are available for 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, etc.

Actual number of Members worked will be listed on the award certificate.
